  1. Non-Stick Cookware

Maybe you can’t see it, but when you heat up non-stick cookware, its coating starts decomposing at a molecular level, releasing various toxic particles and gases based on fluoride, a lot of which are carcinogenic. Immediately you have to replace your non-stick cookware with ceramic or pans and pots which don’t release dangerous fumes.



  1. Plastic Bottles and Food Containers

Bisphenol A is chemical that is used to harden plastic in tupperware, water bottles, and other products made of plastic. Bisphenol A affects negatively on our health. The Food and Drug Administration has changed their stance on Bisphenol A in 2010, saying there’s “some concern” over its impact on the behavior, brain, and prostate glands in young children, babies, and fetuses.

In order to prevent yourself and the environment you should go with reusable glass or metal water bottles and food containers.

  1. Artificial Sweeteners

Never replace sugar with some of its alternatives. Most of the alternatives used are actually lot worse than the regular sugar. The harmful artificial sweeteners include:

Aspartame – is connected to skin cancers and people with phenylketonuria can find it to be deadly

Acesulfame K – might affect pregnancy, cause tumors, and be carcinogenic

Sorbitol – can’t be completely digested in the intestines, so it causes bloating, gas, and diarrhea

Saccharin – indigestible and can cause bladder cancer. It is excreted by the liver unchanged

Our recommendation to replace with:

Erythritol – doesn’t affect the levels of blood sugar, cholesterol, or insulin

Stevia – can reduce blood sugar and blood pressure

Yacon syrup – can help in cases of constipation as it feeds the good intestine bacteria

Xylitol – can enhance bone density and lower the risk of tooth decay
