Lots of people spent a lot of time on their smart phones before going to bed. Not all of them are aware that this is bad for them. We talk about radiation and the blue light which is produced by smart phones and it has been connected to serious health problems. The blue light is a part of the full light spectrum. We are exposed to it by the sun each day. This light emitted by laptops, smartphones, tablets, and other LED screens can damage the vision as it suppresses the production of the hormone named melatonin and it throws off the body;’ natural sleep cues.

The blue light suppresses melatonin. It is an antioxidant which is essential for the natural fight against cancer of the body. Melatonin actually helps the body fight cancer, however, the blue light decreases its production. If it is disrupted one time, then it won’t be an issue, but using the smartphone hours before going to sleep can cause issues.
